  • First season as college basketball coach resulted in one of top Junior College recruiting classes in America (Navarro JC, TX)
  • Worked for NJCAA Hall of Fame Coach Lewis Orr at Navarro College (TX)
  • Recruited/coached  two players who would go on to the NBA while at Navarro:   Ruben Garces and Corey Brewer.  Numerous others went on to 4 year institutions and played professionally from Navarro College

  • Named Athletic Director at Texas Wesleyan University in 2001.

  • Led Texas Wesleyan to first 20 win season in 25 years in 2002-2003
